Haylie's First "official" word!

So, Haylie's been babbling now for several months: "dadada," and "mamama," and "baba," etc. But today she did the cutest thing. I've been thinking for the past few days that she was trying to say the word hello, in fact, on Saturday the phone rang and she pointed and said "heya." But today I was holding her with the phone in my hand. She took the phone from my hand and held it up to my ear and said, "Hewo." It was SO CUTE!! She did it repeatedly, and even did it again for Justin when he got home from work. I guess she's learned how to answer a phone now! :) It's so fun hearing her learn how to say words and repeat them after us! I still can't believe she's already that old! It goes by way too fast.

As for the pool update: We GIVE UP!!! After the whole ordeal last weekend with the cracked hoses and all that mess. We finally got it all hooked up and put water in it when we realized it obviously had a hole in it. We are so sick of messing with it; we're just going to forget about it for this year!

We had a good fourth of July, however, we didn't really have any big plans. We just stayed around our house, Justin grilled some steaks, I made some cookies, and watched some movies. Basically, we just enjoyed some nice, lazy family time!

This week doesn't look too busy (at least not compared to last week; we went to Falls Creek for two days last week). I just plan on mostly staying around the house and doing "motherly" things! :)
