Licensing!!

Yesterday was such a wonderful day. God has blessed us so much and we are so thankful for His grace and mercy.

Sunday morning Justin taught our Sunday School class. Our usual teacher and his wife were out of town on an anniversary trip! We discussed Phillipians 2:1-4. Our focus was on unity among believers and humility. We had a really great discussion and really enjoyed being able to teach the class.

Yesterday evening was the licensing service at our church for Justin. We are thrilled and so thankful to God for what He is calling Justin to do. Justin gave his testimony to the church, which included a long list of different places he'd worked, schools attended, etc all while ignoring God's call. After giving his testimony, I played piano and sang a song, then Brother Tommy presented him with his license. Afterward they had a small reception of cake and punch to celebrate! The church made it such a special day. We have such a great church family and are thankful for their support.

Since accepting the call and surrendering to ministry God has opened doors we never imagined. We are so excited to begin this journey in our life!

On another note...this is Haylie's birthday week. She'll be one on Wednesday!!! I'm really having a hard time believing that it can be possible. I've got lots of stuff to do this week: presents to wrap, cakes to bake, cupcakes to make, pictures to take.....the list goes on and on.

Better get busy with my to do list....
