Here's what we've done this week....

Last week was a busy one--BCM free lunch everyday, choir retreat at Falls Creek on Saturday, and of course, church on Sunday! Yesterday I went with a friend up to the Just Between Friends consignment sale in OKC and had a blast! This was my second time to go, I didn't buy as much this time, but still found some great deals! I was able to find Haylie: a winter coat, 3 dresses, 4 pairs of pants, 4 shirts, and 4 pairs of shoes just about $70! Most all the clothes were Old Navy, and the shoes were Striderite and Nike. The JBF sale is a great place to find outstanding prices on gently used clothing, shoes, toys, furniture, decor, pretty much ANYTHING you can think of! Yes, it has been used before, but everything I bought still looks brand new!

Last week was our first week at the BCM. We did NOONDAY lunches all week long. Normally these NOONDAY's will be on Wednesdays only (free lunch for all SSC students and faculty). Last week we decided to do it everyday to try and get students aware of the BCM and get them connected! We had a great turnout and ended up having 55 different students come in throughout the week! I think out biggest days were Wednesday and Friday--about 35 students each day! We were thrilled with the turnout and enjoyed getting to meet the students. We look forward to working with them throughout the rest of the semester!

Tomorrow will be another NOONDAY lunch for us. We're looking forward to see our turnout tomorrow! On Thursday my sister's going to come over during the morning to visit, Thursday evening my parents are having us over for my "birthday dinner," and Friday night Justin is going to take me out on a "date" for my birthday! I can't wait!! Sunday is my actual birthday so we'll be celebrating early. Also on Sunday will be Justin's first day to fill in at Ideal St. Baptist Church. He's scheduled to fill in for a couple weeks while the pastor takes off for medical reasons.
