Fall is ALMOST here!!!

September has arrived and almost halfway over already! I love the fall: football games, cool weather, turning of the leaves, etc. It's just a beautiful time of year! I'm really wanting to decorate for fall, and get my wreath out for my door, but I'm trying to wait until it's actually "officially" fall--Sep. 21? I think! I did already order my fall Scentsy fragrances! I got pumpkin roll, baked apple pie, and cinnamon bear for Christmas time! One of my favorite things in the fall/winter is to have the house cozy, decorated, and smelling like the holidays!

Haylie is 13 1/2 months old now! She's walking ALL over the place and even starting to almost run! Yesterday I was trying to get her dressed and put socks and shoes on her and she kept running away from me laughing! So ornery!! She's talking a little more each week. This week she's added the words: more, Bible (pronounced Bibi), and still says all the other words she has been! For the past week I've been able to see another tooth trying to come up through her bottom gums, but it still hasn't broken through! If it ever decides to come in, it will be her 7th tooth!

Last week we found out that Justin will be preaching at Ideal St. Baptist Church for the next 6 weeks. We'll definitely be keeping busy with that among all the other things going on in our lives!

Tonight I'm going out with the "girls!" We are going to see "Julie and Julia!" I'm excited to get some time out to myself! Tomorrow night there is a statewide BCM function at First Baptist Moore that we will be attending, called, Momentum.

But most of all, I'm excited about Saturday! If you know anything about me at all, then you know I am completely obsessed with the Amish culture!! I love to read Amish books, learn about their culture, visit Amish stores, etc. This Saturday there is an Amish Festival in Clarita, OK and we will be going for the first time. I don't really know what to expect, but I know they will be selling a lot of their homemade foods and quilts. I can't wait to see what all it entails!
