Answers to prayer!

Yesterday when I wrote the blog entry I completely forgot how God has answered our prayers about our finances! Since Justin started his new job we've been praying that somehow He would provide us with something we could do to make some extra money each month just to help us not have to continue dipping into our savings month after month...eventually there would be no more to dip into! At the end of August a lady at church asked if I could give her two children piano lessons. Of course, I readily agreed and was thankful for God's provisions. Within just a couple days, literally, I received a phone call from another lady, who had gotten my name from the Seminole Band Director, who wanted me to give lessons to her son. And, then again, this week I had another lady from church contact me about lessons for her daughter. So within just three short weeks I went from having zero piano students to four! It's amazing how God provides. I don't even have to worry about gas because two of the students are driving all the way out to my house, and the other two I give at the church right before dinner on Wednesday nights!

Now, I know four piano students will not cause us to be in the social circle with Donald Trump or anything, but for us this is a true blessing! We had discussed together the amount of extra money we needed just to get by, and these four students cover that amount plus a little more! I had talked about substituting one or two days a week to make this amount. I didn't want to substitute, Justin didn't want me to, but we both knew that we were going to have to do something...and that's about all we could think of! But now, here it is provided for us and I don't even have to worry about leaving Haylie one or two days a week! Childcare is provided at the church during my lesson time, and Justin is at home with Haylie for the other two!

It's truly amazing to me how God not only knows our needs but He understands and provides for them!!!
