BCM students hit OKC Mall!!

Thursday we took the BCM students up to OKC to go Christmas shopping!  We went to Penn Square Mall, then ate at Ted's (Yum!), and then went on to Norman and made stops at Target, Academy, and several other shops....  We had a fun time.  A lot of these students had never even been to most of these places, can you believe that?!?!  Haylie was able to go with us and I think she really enjoyed it as did the students. They have a fun time playing with her.

Friday when Justin got home from work we decided to go to Shawnee to finish off our Christmas shopping.  We ended up not buying much more, which is actually a good thing!  Then on Saturday, we painted our house!!  We only got one wall in the dining room finished, and then the whole living room!  We still have the rest of the dining room, kitchen, hallway, and laundry room to finish with the paint we have.....and then sometime down the road I still need to do the 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. It's definitely a lot of work, and time consuming, but looks great!

Let's see....a funny Haylie story for the weekend.....

She's started this thing where I ask her if she can laugh.  She gives us the biggest fake laugh you've ever heard.  Then I ask her if she can cough.  She then gives us the biggest fake cough you've ever heard.  Finally I say, "Haylie, can you cry?"  She wrinkles up her forehead and puts fake frown on and gives us the funniest, cutest fake cry/whine you've ever heard!!  It's hilarious.  She's such a performer.  She'll do it for anyone, and then when we've finished all three she just laughs and laughs and laughs!
