What happened to our daughter?

This will be a super short blog, just a quick update of what's going on with Haylie.

Overnight, it seems, my daughter has turned into a different person. Seriously. Just over the weekend she's learned all kinds of new "tricks." She started climbing. She can climb into her rocking chair and on top of her toy box. She tries to climb on top of the stove too. She's also, all of the sudden, started telling us no. When we ask her a question she says "NO!" And not just a quiet, calm "no." This is a "NO, MOM!!! I don't want to do that!" kind of no. Finally, this morning she figured out how to take her pajamas off! She unzipped them (you know, the flannel, footie kind) and had them completely off of her chest and arms. She's getting too smart for her own good!

I just can't believe how fast she's changing. Everyone always says that, but you don't realize it until you experience it. It's bittersweet. Of course I want her to grow up and develop and be healthy, but at the same time I wish she was still my little baby girl.

Where IS my little baby that I rocked just a few months ago.....now she's a 16 month old toddler running around yelling "No!", climbing on the furniture, and taking her clothes off!
