Bathtime Blooper

It's early Sunday morning, and I'm wide awake. I just can't sleep in anymore, but that's okay. I really enjoy the quiet time by myself before everyone else gets up. I normally go workout and do my Bible study, but I take a break from exercise on Sunday, so I thought I'd catch up blogging a little.

Haylie did the funniest thing last night. Bathtime. I had started the water running in the tub, and she was playing with some other toys. I thought I would take 5 seconds to run to her room and get her pajamas and a fresh diaper for after the bath. When I came back into the bathroom, she was IN the bathtub sitting down still IN her clothes and houseshoes!! She was just sitting their playing with her bath toys like everything was normal! She's so funny.....I do have to say, I don't make it a habit of leaving her in the bathroom by herself when she's bathing; I had know idea she was going to climb in their by herself, and I really did just grab a diaper and pjs and came right back. :)

After Haylie went to bed last night I started painting the dining room and kitchen. I got quite a bit done, but will have to finish it tonight or tomorrow night. I'm really wanting to have it finished and looking good by Saturday because I'm having a Silpada jewelry party at my house for a friend of mine. I definitely can't leave it looking so unfinished as it is right now.

Friday night we dropped Haylie off at her Mema and Papa's house so we could have a date night. We had such a nice time; it's always nice to get a break once in a while. We ate dinner at Santa Fe and then watched the movie "Leap Year." It was pretty good; not the best movie I've ever seen, but it was clean and just a good romantic story (although very predictible, but aren't they all?). We picked Haylie up early yesterday morning. We sure were ready to see her.

I just realized that I don't have anything for Sunday lunch today, so I better get off of here and go make some Chicken Tortilla Soup to leave simmering while we're gone.....
