We have an answer to prayer that we have been waiting on. As posted earlier, we have been worried about Justin's job situation not knowing what we should do. We've been praying for God to provide and to give us wisdom to know what we should do. Yesterday Justin received a call from his boss telling him that the transfer and all the changes would take place on April 13. BUT...they told him that instead of making him go to OKC then they have decided to let him stay at Shawnee for awhile. This is a short term answer to our prayers because it buys us more time for Justin to find a new job without him having to commute back and forth to OKC daily and spending all the money on gas!! We will continue to pray that God will provide a new job for Justin, but we are SO thankful for this answer right now because it will help us greatly!
Justin's searching for a new job that would be much closer to home so we are still praying for God's will, guidance and wisdom. We know that God will provide for us and meet our needs. He is so faithful.
On another note, Haylie is growing and changing so fast. Yesterday morning when we went in to check on her she was sitting up in her crib!! She's starting to pull up on the coffee table and she's army crawling everywhere. She's so sweet and beautiful--such a blessing from God.
This past weekend we started trying to fix up our yard. We planted four trees and I planted a flower bed in the front. We also started trying to remove this gigantic pile of sand that has been there since we moved. After Saturday and Sunday afternoon I was so sore I could barely move. We at least got a good start on everything that needs to be done, but there's so much more to do. We still need to lay some sod, put up our fence, buy a storage building, landscape the backyard, buy a lawnmower/weedeater, etc... We've got enough to do to keep us busy on the weekends for awhile!
